An Autumn Adventure to Walverden Park!

What an incredible adventure we had at Walverden Park this week. We have been learning how to write a non- chrlonolgical report about our local area  so we decided to explore it for ourselves. Whilst visiting Walverden Park, we were able to read the information on the signs displayed, follow the routes around and have our own conker hunt. We had read earlier in the week that the name 'Walverden' derives from the words 'wolves den' so we made sure that there weren't any more wolves lurking around! We only found one wolf... but luckily this was the sculpture that had been carved out of wood. Phew!
