Lesson: PSHE and citizenship
On Thursday afternoon, the school council and the head boy and head girl were invited to refreshments and a tree planting ceremony with Deputy Lieutenant, Dennis Mendoros and The Mayor of Pendle, Cllr. Yasser Iqbal. Pendle received one of the trees from the group of Trees which was outside Buckingham Palace during the Jubilee celebrations. We all helped to plant the tree and the behaviour of the children was exceptional. We were very proud of them all.
