School Start and Finish Times

The school office is open from 8.30am to 4.00pm and the telephone number is 01282 614463.


Start times - pupils are to arrive from 8.45am onwards and must be in their classrooms by 8.55am, when lessons will commence.


Parents are to drop children off at the gate.


End of school day - pupils in Classes Pendle and Barley will finish at 3.25pm -any pupil who has an older sibling in school will wait in the school playground for their older sibling(s).


Pupils in Classes Marsden, Towneley and Wycoller will finish at 3.30pm.

The Polish Bible

Lesson: Religious education

Class: Marsden Year: 2021 - 2022

This half term we are studying the Bible in RE.  We have been learning about how the Bible has been translated into over 500 different languages and the importance of this for non-English speaking Christians.  Mrs Romanska joined our lesson this week and read from the Polish Bible. It was wonderful to hear her read in Polish.  She also shared with us the English version of the same Bible story so we knew what she had read.
