School Start and Finish Times

The school office is open from 8.30am to 4.00pm and the telephone number is 01282 614463.


Start times - pupils are to arrive from 8.45am onwards and must be in their classrooms by 8.55am, when lessons will commence.


Parents are to drop children off at the gate.


End of school day - pupils in Classes Pendle and Barley will finish at 3.25pm -any pupil who has an older sibling in school will wait in the school playground for their older sibling(s).


Pupils in Classes Marsden, Towneley and Wycoller will finish at 3.30pm.

A visit to meet the Mayor 26th November 2019

Class: Barley Year: 2019-2020

We have been on a special visit to Nelson Town Hall this afternoon. We had a tour of the Town Hall and had the opportunity to look inside the old police cells which were very cold and bare. We then had a meeting with the Mayor and Mayoress, where we got to explore some artefacts, ask questions and look at the Mayor's Coat of Arms on his chain of office. Before we left, some children kindly asked the Mayor for his autograph.
